"Echo" - Stage performance-polyphony

Echo is an art performance for the international stage, created by Ukrainian artists to convey the scale and depth of the losses suffered by Ukrainian culture during the war.
This is not just a performance, but a living polyphony of memory - when the voices of contemporary authors intertwine with the voices of those who are no longer among us.
The performance centers on ten poetic texts dedicated to deceased artists. Each piece features a quote from the works of deceased or missing writers. The simultaneous sounding of several voices creates the effect of a multilayered presence — a shared breathing of memory, in which the deceased continue to speak through the living. And the audience takes an active part and becomes a witness to the echo.
The main message of Echo is a call to become an echo of the voices of those you already have around you.
Participants: Idea and concept: Olena Gerasymiuk
Authors of the texts: Olena Gerasimyuk, Pavlo Matyusha
Promotion: Victoria Matyusha
