We invite you to watch a documentary about Victoria Andrusha, a math and computer science teacher who was abducted by the Russian military from her parents ' home in Stary Bykov, Chernihiv region. Victoria was held in the Kursk pre-trial detention center for a long time, lawyers were not allowed in and her whereabouts were not confirmed. All this time, she was mentally broken, physically bullied, and threatened to cut her hair. Thanks to the widespread publicity and advocacy of the Center for Civil Liberties, Victoria and two other civilian women were released on September 29, 2023. This documentary tells about her life: before, during and after captivity.
The goal of the "release without conditions and exchanges" campaign is to unite the efforts of the international community to release civilian prisoners suffering from Russian aggression.
After the screening of the film, there will be a discussion "survive in captivity: testimony, truth and the struggle for justice", which will be attended by:

● What efforts are being made by human rights defenders to restore justice and how
does documenting crimes contribute to this fight?
● What conditions and violations do Ukrainian prisoners face, especially
women, in captivity?
● What challenges are most often faced by the relatives of prisoners, and how can they
strengthen support for families waiting for their loved ones to return?
